DAY 1: CASABLANCA AIRPORT TO MARRAKECH VIA THE HASSAN 2 MOSQUE.

You will be welcomed by your English speaking driver at the airport of Hassan 2 and drive to Marrakech through the Hassan 2 mosque .The drive from the airport to the mosque is about one hour .It is one of the largest mosques in the world ,second only to Mecca .Although it is open to visitors only during the day (except Friday ) ,it is at dusk that the mosque is at its most beautiful ,its tones of ocher and green projected by the marble blending harmoniously with the setting sun .guided tours start at 9Am ,10Am, 11Am and 2Pm.so ,you will go for a visit inside the mosque and after that drive to Marrakech where you will spend the first night .Overnight in a riad in the old city .

DAY 2: MARRAKECH TOUR GUIDE WITH A LOCAL GUIDE.

You will start the tour guide of Marrakech around 9:30 Am . You will meet your guide at your riad and start the sightseeing tour of Marrakech with the famous place of Jemaa el-Fnaa square , the traditional meeting place for peasants and merchants from the Sous region ,the High Atlas and the South ,has become the heart of Marrakech .In the morning this vast square ,located on the edge of the souk district and bordered by shops and workshops ,is crowded with fruit and spice sellers ,Guerrab with their leather water and metal drinking cups ,basket sellers ,ironmongers and barbers .You will visit also the Koutoubia mosque .The Koutoubia minaret was begun during the reign of the Sultan Abd El Moumen and completed by Yacoub El Mansour .It is both a symbol of the Berber city and a central landmark ,and, rising 252 feet into the sky .

And after that , you will go to the Tombs of the Saadian princes ,with its delicate decoration and pure architectural lines ,the necropolis was an outstandingly beautiful feat of architecture .Then go on to the Bahia Palace ,standing in a 2-acre garden , is a haphazard arrangement of secret luxury apartment opening to inner courtyard .For seven years around a thousand craftsmen from the Fez region worked on the palace ,using the same motifs and materials inside as the architects had on the outside of the building.

And after the visiting of all this places and other, you will meet your driver somewhere outside to take you to the Majorelle garden and make some tours in the new city before he drop you off at your riad or somewhere next to it.

DAY 3: MARRAKECH TO THE DADES VALLEY VIA THE HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS, AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH, OUARZAZATE AND THE ROSE VALLEY.

The trip to the stunning Dades valley will start around 8:30 Am. Just as you drive few hours from Marrakech , you will drive through the High Atlas mountains with a lof of villages built with stones and pesé buildings of the fortified villages are of different shapes and sizes .The tallest are the igherm (collective granaries ).You will pass through Taddart .This small ,typical mountain village ,set among walnut trees ,used to be the first staging post on the caravan route between Marrakech and Ouarzazate .Then through the Tizi –N-Tichka .At an altitude of 7415 feet Tizi-N-Tichka ( pas of the pastures ) is the highest vehicular pass in Morocco .It links Marrakech with the pre-Saharan regions ,where all roads pass through Ouarzazate ..On the southern side of the Tizi-N-Tichka tere is a magnificent view across the peaks of the central High Atlas .

You will continue having this view till you reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou .Lunch in a local restaurant then go for a walk in the Kasbah .This fortified village has been classified by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural treasures .And after continue the journey to the Moroccan Hollywood of Ouarzazate where you will stop to visit one of the cinema studio then drive straight to the Rose valley and stop to see a rose cooperative and the rose fields then drive make it to the Dades gorge where you will spend the night .

DAY 4: THE DADES VALLEY TO THE SAHARA DESERT VIA TODGHA GORGE ,TINJDAD AND ERFOUD .

After breakfast at your hotel in the Dades valley , you will start the trip to the desert around 8:30 Am .You will drive back to the administrative center of Boumalne Dades ,where houses are built on the mountainside next to the Kasbah .At first , the road is bordered by a series of Ksour and Kasbahs ,including the Kasbah of Ait Arbi ,built at the foot of volcanic rocks ,and Tamnalt ,known as the “ the Valley of Human Bodies “ .You will have stops on the way and enjoy seeing the wonderful landscape then continue to Todgha Gorges .

From Tinghir you will make a detour up to Todgha Gorge .The road through the Todgha Gorges follows the right bank of the river ,which is covered with palm trees .And at the end of the valley you will reach the narrow corridor between the sheer ,towering walls of rock ( 985 feet high ) is only 65 feet wide .After the visit of the gorge you will drive back to the main road and drive through Tinjdad and many towns and villages. Lunch in a local restaurant then continue the trip via Erfoud which one of the largest oases in Morocco ,fed by the Oued Ziz and Oued Rheris .From here ,the Sahara desert is around 1 hour away .When you arrive the desert , you will relax for a while and drink a cup of tea and be ready for the camel ride to the middle of the sand dunes to spend the night in a Berber tent .

DAY 5: SAHARA DESERT TO FES VIA ERRACHIDIA ,ERRICH ,MIDELT ,MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS AND IFRANE .

In the morning at the camp, you will wake up early for the sunrise .After seeing the sunrise , you will ride back the camels to the starting point or they will drive you back to the a hotel for shower and breakfast .And and after that you will travel to Fes which is going to be around 8 Hours drive. You will drive through the Ziz valley and stop for a nice view for the Taflilate oasis then continue the journey till Midelt where you will stop for lunch .Then continue via the middle Atlas mountains and stop in the Azrou forest to see monkeys climbing up and down the cedar and oak trees and after that continue to the Moroccan Swiss style city of Efrane where you will stop for a walk break .And from here, Fes is around 65 Kilometers.

DAY 6: FES TOUR GUIDE WITH A LOCAL GUIDE.

You will meet your guide around 9:30 at your riad and start the tour guide of Fez. Fes ,the oldest of Morocco’ s imperial cities ,is an important religious and cultural center .It is also renowned for its traditional crafts ,and because of the particularly high reputation of its university it is known by many as the “ Athens of Africa” .You will visit the royal palace which was the sultan”s residence and also served as barracks for his troops. Then the jewish quarter “ The Mellah “ come from the Arabic word Melh ( salt ) and it is considered as the largest “mellah “ in Morocco .And after that , you will go for a stunning view on the south Borj whish was used to protect the medina .You will visit also outside the medina Fes pottery ,tin-glazed earthenware decorated with predominantly cobalt-blue designs .After the visit of the outside your guide will take you to the inside part of the old city .You will start with the Bou Inania Mederasa ,which is also a mosque ,is always busy .Then tha Kairouyine Mosque which was founded in 857 in a district occupied by Kairouani refugees, then make it toards the Tanneries , the colorful tanneries’ quarter ,spreads out along the banks of the Oued Fes .the view from the roof top is a memorable one :clusters of stone vats filled with red ,yellow and brown dyes ,and skins hanging everywhere ,drying in the sun .At the end if the visit , you will meet your driver somewhere outside of the medina then go for another view next the Merinide tombs then drive you back to your riad .

DAY 7: FEZ TO CHEFHCOUEN VIA MEKNES AND VOLUBILIS .

You will start the trip to Chefchaouen from your riad around 8:30 .You will drive first to Meknes through the highway .when you reach Meknes .The imperial old city of Meknes is surrounded by about 25miles of triple ramparts. You will start with the Bab El Khemis .This was the main entrance to the “garden city” and the former Mellah ,built during the 17th century on a site that Moulay Ismail gave a Jewish doctor who had cured one the royal princesses .

Then move on to the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum , it is possible for non-Muslims to enter .And after that , you will go to the Agoudal Basin .Behind the three walls ,each of which is closed by a gate ,are the Sultan’s Gardens where Moulay Ismail installed an ostrich park .And before you drive to the Roman city of Volubilis ,you will finish the tour of Meknes with the Moulay Ismail granaries .Father south is the Dar El Ma ( house of water ) ,built during the 17th and 18th centuries .And after that , you will drive to Volubilis. You will stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis which was inhabited during the Neolithic period and was occupied by the Carthaginians and then by the Romans, developing a thriving oil trade around 40 BC. And this historical place you will have a local guide to discover the house of Orpheus, the house of Dionysus others .Lunch in a restaurant then drive straight to Chefchaouen .

DAY 8: VISIT CHEFCHAOUEN IN THE MORNING THEN TRANSFER TO TANGIER PORT OR TO THE AIRPORT.

Chefchaouen more commonly called Chaouen, nestled between two mountains known together as Jebel Ech Chouen (Horned Mountain).You will discover this beautiful, stunning bleu city by yourself by walking through it tiny bleu streets .You will see also the Hta Hammam square where the Kasbah stands .Here the work of artists can be seen in newly established galleries .Having climbed up to Ras-El-Ma ,the town’s largest spring .And after the visit you will meet your driver somewhere outside the old city then drive straight to the port or to the airport .
